JOB DESCRIPTION
Highlands is a leader in engineering software product development, marketing, and sales. Our software offers new ways to design and engineer complex infrastructure projects while significantly improving engineering workflows.
This is a senior level sales position with primarily global accounts that requires relationship management with our reseller channel. You will be assigned to select global accounts to drive sales activities in concert with the originating country, with the aim of maximizing global participation via reseller offices worldwide.
Your position will be responsible for leading the development and execution of Highlands overall reseller strategy in collaboration with Senior Account Managers and Subject Matter Experts as required.
Roles and Responsibilities
You will gain deep knowledge about Highlands engineering software ecosystem, including business model, customer segmentation, customer workflows, product offerings, competitors, marketing and GTM.
You will act as a highly effective business development and strategy resource to identify, scope out, and drive engagements with strategic reseller partners that have potential to meet Highlands objectives.
You will be responsible for creating the account strategy, managing, and coordinating worldwide reseller implementations and roll-out plans, account management, contract management, compliance, and overall global sales performance.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Ideally, you will provide:
- 2+ years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships negotiating bespoke, first-of-its kind deals.
- Ability to operate with a high degree of independence to identify and evaluate new business opportunities, build partnership strategy, assess market opportunity / competitive landscape, and develop financial / business models.
- Have a proven track record of building high trust relationships and driving consensus internally across product, marketing, legal, finance, sales and more.
- Experience with negotiating complex legal agreements with large, strategic partners.
- Ability to act as a creative, strategic problem solver, incessantly seeking opportunities to materially impact the business.
