Job Description

We are currently looking to hire Email Marketing Specialist to work in the Marketing Department for a USA-based software company.

We are looking for a talented Email Marketing Specialist to take the lead with our email marketing strategies. The candidate needs to handle various challenges with an ability to solve them and thus possess ability to think outside of the box within a dynamic and fast paced work environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns. This includes (but is not limited to) developing copy and subject lines, designing email templates, building email lists, and more.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify our target email audience and grow our email list, using particularly placed sign-up forms and gated content throughout the larger website.
  • Work with leadership to determine goals; report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts.
  • Proofread emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling.
  • Ensure mobile-friendly email templates.
  • Ensure marketing message is conveyed clearly and delivered properly to prospects.
  • Upgrade our email templates using graphics, personalization, and advanced features.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate communication with clients via email to minimize unsubscribes.
  • Determines target audience, devises campaign, and launches email campaign to create buzz or generate leads for the business.
  • Drawing up email campaign reporting to benchmark and measure success.
  • Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements.
  • Report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts.
  • Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices.

Requirements

  • Must be number driven and ensure the best open, click, bounce, spam rates through experiments and data analysis.
  • Must pay attention to A/B testing details; and their results and ability to prioritize and execute tasks simultaneously.
  • Meet all quality review standards (including link validation, layout, formatting, image quality) & accessibility standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to provide actionable insights from data.
  • Hands on experience of HTML and JavaScript.
  • An ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills – written and oral.
  • Understanding of Mailchimp, Mailjet and SendGrid will be preferred.
